It seems that Call of Duty 2 might be heading to Xbox Game Pass soon. The classic 2005 entry in the Call of Duty series has recently appeared on the Microsoft Store for PC, listed for $19.99. Xbox Era was the first to spot the listing, noting that it resembles previous instances like the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy before they were added to Game Pass.
Although there’s been no official confirmation from Microsoft or Activision, the move makes sense given Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision and the Call of Duty franchise. Currently, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Modern Warfare 3 are the only Call of Duty titles available on Game Pass, so it’s possible that more games from the franchise could join the service in the future.
Call of Duty 2 originally launched as an Xbox 360 exclusive in 2005, and was developed by a team of 75 developers over a two-year period with a budget of $14.5 million. It is currently available for purchase on both the Microsoft Store and Steam for the same price.
